I admit, I’m not a big fan of supernatural horror stories. The only horror stories that I typically watch are the ones that fall under the science-fiction genre. Ones that include zombies, disaster yarns, serial killers, mystery-horror murders, etc. I know that some of our readers enjoy them, so I wanted to pass along this new movie DVD release to all of you. It’s called The Prodigy and will be released on DVD and Blu-Ray starting on Tuesday May 7th, 2019. Here’s information on the movie and the upcoming DVD release.

THE PRODIGY arrives on Digital April 23rd and Blu-ray and DVD May 7th. In her much-anticipated foray into the horror-thriller genre, Golden Globe and Emmy nominee Taylor Schilling stars in THE PRODIGY as Sarah, a mother whose young son Miles’ disturbing behavior signals that an evil, possibly supernatural force has overtaken him. Fearing for her family’s safety, Sarah must choose between her maternal instinct to love and protect Miles and a desperate need to investigate what — or who — is causing his dark turn. She is forced to look for answers in the past, taking the audience on a wild ride; one where the line between perception and reality becomes frighteningly blurry.

My sons would probably love this movie. I usually cannot watch horror movies because they give me nightmares!
This is a movie I’d definitely watch!
That looks so scary! I definitely hate gross stuff in horror films, but maybe this emphasizes mood and atmosphere. And I, too, avoid zombies and the like!
I saw that this movie is being released on to dvd soon the other day and was curious if it would be any good. I sometimes like supernatural horror movies if they aren’t low budget and have a good plot. I guess I will have to check this one out.
