The Ultimate Soap Carving Book by Makiko Sone

April 5, 2019 by Jenelle

The Ultimate Soap Carving Book by Makiko SoneThe Ultimate Soap Carving Book by author Makiko Sone and from Quarry Books is a fascinating read. I had never heard of soap carving until I had seen the pitch for this book. One of the things that drew me to it is that you use purchased soap bars that you carve to come up with some beautiful new designs. Complete works of art made out of soap!

Makiko Sone is the founder of Mizutama.Soap YouTube channel and shares her secrets for designing and hand-carving a variety of beautiful soaps by cutting, shredding, shaping, sculpting, etc. These soaps are perfect to give as special gifts, to resell or to use in your own home.
