Happy 33rd wedding anniversary to my parents (Sam and Shelly) who are off celebrating their anniversary this weekend. I’m very blessed that my parents are great role models for me and have shown me over the years what its like to be in-love and to be loved. While being married isn’t always easy, they have showed me that with love…you can get through anything.
When it comes to wedding anniversaries how do you like to celebrate? Do you exchange gifts? Go out for a romantic dinner? Go on a weekend getaway?
If we can we do a weekend get away for our anniversary and have a nice dinner. I agree that having role models for how to get through the tough times and celebrate the good is very important. Happy Anniversary to your folks.
We don’t celebrate anniversaries. We may have a special dinner but we just have never made it a big deal.
