My husband and I started dating back in the mid 1980’s and have been together ever since. Shortly after we started dating he gave me my first Precious Moments figurine to honor our 6 months dating anniversary. From that time forward he’s presented Precious Moments items to me as gifts for my birthday, our wedding anniversary, Christmas gifts, Valentine’s Day and Easter gifts, Get Well Gifts, Just Because I Love You and so forth. When our daughter was born…he gave me a figurine. When our grandchildren were born, he gave me figurines. It has become a tradition that still continues today.

The “My Favorite People Call Me Grandma” figurine is my FAVORITE piece in my collection. That’s saying a lot since I have over 75+ figurines! I have 2 young grandchildren and let me tell you…any grandmother would LOVE to receive this one as a gift. Each figurine is hand-sculpted from fine bisque porcelain and beautifully hand-painted. It stands 5 1/2″ tall.
This grandma is wearing faux-diamond studded glasses which are adorable! I wear reading glasses with faux-jewels and my granddaughter is always commenting on them. I just love EVERYTHING about this figurine!!! Like all of their figurines if you look on the bottom you’ll find all of your collector’s information and hallmarks.
I think it would make the perfect gift to a new grandmother, for mother’s day, grandparent’s day, valentine’s day, Easter…well, any time that you want to celebrate the bond between a grandmother and grandchild. Beautiful.

I have always loved the colors Precious Moments use. These figurines have really stood the test of time. I am always amazed how they come up with such new and different ones year after year.
