The tale begins with a baby bunny rabbit who dreams of a falling star and sets out on a journey to find it. The bunny encounters a fork in the path and has to choose which way to go, drawing courage from remembering its parent’s support and love.

Inspired by her new journey into motherhood, Aversa had a desire to do something special for her daughter. With her musical background, writing a lullaby was a natural fit. Jenelle’s Thoughts: My children have a bedtime routine. They get their baths, have a little snack and then we enjoy 30 minutes of reading time before we all head off to bed. My son is 3 1/2 and my daughter is 9 1/2 years old. The kids take turns on selecting the book that we read and most of the time it features animals.

Last weekend we sat down to read YOUR LIGHT by author Jillian Aversa, Illustrated by Marina Lezcano. Its a very easy-to-read book with a simple-to-understand story line. The story revolves around a baby rabbit who heads out on an adventure. The illustrations are beautifully done and each page has just a few words to read. Great for young readers! As a parent I like that it appeals to both of my children and takes us less than 15 minutes to read. Perfect for those bedtime stories!
