In 1985 I received my very first Precious Moments figurine as a gift from my husband. He gave me this special figurine in honor of our daughter’s birth. Over the years it has become a tradition for my husband and now adult daughter to present me with Precious Moments figurines as gifts to mark special occasions. I look forward to getting new figurines to mark my birthdays, anniversaries, births of my grandchildren, Easter and Christmas gifts. They’re special and always bring a smile to my face.

Spring is here and Easter is just around the corner. We do a lot of entertaining during the Spring and Summer seasons and I’m always looking for fun serving pieces to add to my collection. During this time of the year I make my famous Angel Ova’s (regular people call them Deviled Eggs) and needed a new serving platter.
Precious Moments sent me their new Angeled Eggs Serving Platter to review for you and I immediately fell in-love with it! Way too cute! The platter is made out of glazed ceramic, so you’ll want to hand wash only!!! It measures 10″ in diameter and will hold up to 12 egg halves.
The design features 12 yellow chicks with their angel halos and feet. Once you put your halved eggs into the tray…that will decorate their bodies. In the center you’ll see the wording “Angeled Deviled Eggs”. The serving tray is beautifully made and has some “weight” to it. It’s NOT a flimsy serving tray at all. It looks beautiful on your buffet, table-top or counter-top.
Precious Moments sent me the matching Angeled Egg Salt & Pepper Shakers to go along with it. They’re made out of glazed ceramic, hand wash only. There is a little rubber stopper on the bottom of each shaker, so that you can fill them up. Each shaker is done in a cute Angel Egg theme, completed with goldtone angel wings and halo. I just love those tear-drop shaped eyes that Precious Moments is known for. Adorable!!!
On the box of the serving platter you’ll find the following recipe:
Precious Moments Angeled Eggs
6 hard-boiled eggs
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 tsp. white vinegar
1 tsp. yellow mustard
1/8 tsp. salt
Black pepper to taste
Paprika for garnish
Remove outer shell and cut each egg in half. Scoop out yolks and place them in a bowl. Mash the yolks with mayonnaise and white vinegar. Add yellow mustard and salt. Mix well. Add black pepper to taste.
Scoop mixture into egg white halves with a teaspoon. Sprinkle paprika for decoration. Chill egg halves until serving time.
We had a little family get-together over the weekend and I whipped up a batch of the Precious Moments Angeled Eggs and served them in the platter. Everyone loved the adorable presentation! I’ll definitely be using that platter during our Easter dinner and then throughout all of our family gatherings when I make Angel Ova’s (Deviled Eggs).
The Angeled Chicks Salt & Pepper Shaker Set is adorable too! You can use them for your salt, pepper, cinnamon & sugar mix, parika, etc. Any spice that you and the family use often! I filled the one with ground Paprika…that way if our guests wanted “extra” paprika on their eggs, they could add it. The other one is holding my mixture of cinnamon & sugar which we use often on our French Toast, toasted bagels, waffles, baked sweet potatoes and sprinkled on our sweet potato fries! You can use them however you wish!

This is such a cute platter and salt and pepper shakers. My best friend collects Precious Moments stuff but I don’t think she has this one great gift idea for her thanks for sharing.
