Highlights for Children Magazines for Kids

How many of you grew up with Highlights magazine for children or provided the magazine to your children/grandchildren? When I was growing up my parents got me a subscription to the magazine for several years. I really enjoyed them and always looked forward to them arriving in the mail.

Highlights for Children Magazines for Kids

My children (ages 3 and 9) love getting their own mail so I decided to get each of them their own subscription to Highlights Magazine. Back when I was a child they only had one version, now they have a version for the younger kids too!

Princess is 9 years old and reads the regular Highlights for Children magazine which contains puzzles, arts & crafts projects, educational stories, hidden picture activities, recipes etc. This magazine is published monthly and is designed for at-home or classroom use.

Prince is 3 years old and reads the new Highlights High Five magazine which is for younger kids (preschoolers and early childhood) and contains educational stories, arts & crafts projects, puzzles, recipes, etc. This magazine is published monthly and is designed for at-home or classroom use.

Both of these magazines are award-winning!!!

One of the things I like about these magazines is that you can change your subscription as your child grows. For example: Prince is subscribed to High Five and once he outgrows it I can contact Highlights and have them switch him over to the regular Highlights for Children magazine. If you sign your child up for Highlights for Children but feel its too advanced for their age, just contact them and they will happily switch you down to the High Five. I love that!

My children love getting their “own mail” every month and I know that your children or grandchildren will too! If you’re looking to subscribe you can find both of these magazine subscriptions available on Amazon for a great price! These subscriptions make great Valentine’s Day, Easter, Birthday, Christmas and Just-Because gifts for any child on your gift-giving list!

I can see how a child would love getting his own subscription in the mail. I would love to buy one of these subscriptions for my grandchildren.
