I just want to be clear…this is the pasta for my super health-conscious readers. It’s not your typical pasta as it’s made with Montana durum wheat with Blue Evolution Superfood Seaweed. Blue Evolution ™ pasta is Vegan, non-GMO, and contains no artificals. In terms of its nutritional value, it’s very similar to that of a box of “traditional brand” pasta. The only difference is that Blue Evolution ™ pasta has 70mg of sodium and only 1g of sugar. Also, the pasta happens to be green. But don’t let these differences sway you from trying out their penne or rotini pasta. You will be pleasantly surprised by its taste.
Blue Evolution ™ pasta can be made as a main dish or a side dish…the choice is yours. My husband and I decided to make grilled chicken over the penne pasta with truffle alfredo sauce AND garlic and basil spaghetti sauce (because my husband is not a fan of alfredo). I was quite happy with how everything turned out. We aren’t huge pasta eaters…me especially (too many carbs), but I really enjoyed our Monday night dinner. To me, the seaweed pasta tastes just like regular pasta. I tried it by itself and mixed with the chicken and sauce. There really is no difference (this is going to be dependent on your taste buds). The only downside is actually cooking the pasta. I don’t know if it was just me, but when this pasta cooks, it smells like pickled eggs. It’s not a very appetizing smell. If you can get past the smell of it cooking, then I promise you won’t be too disappointed.
If you are interested in trying Blue Evolution ™ penne or rotini pasta, and you aren’t sure what type of dish to serve, then I would suggest checking out the Blue Evolution™ blog. There you will find many different recipe options to choose from such as Creamy Rotini Crab Bake or Marinated Zucchini pasta. Looking to buy? Check out their website and/or shop for their pasta products on Amazon.
So please give Blue Evolution™ a chance today and order a box of their penne or rotini pasta. You will be pleasantly surprised how delicious their pasta really is. You can connect with the company over on Facebook to learn more.

I have never tried seaweed pasta . I think that would make a great pasta and am eager to try it.
This would be interesting to try. I am not a fan of seaweed so I would be concerned that I would be able to taste the flavor of seaweed in the pasta.
I had no idea seaweed could be used like this. It does sound interesting. I’d give it a try.
