5 Awesome Toys Your Kids Will Love! Toys are some of any child’s favorite things, but sometimes the joy a toy brings is short lived. Think about what some of your favorite toys were as a child. Does remembering them bring fond memories or a smile to your lips? I hope so because I have great memories of endless fun with my Spirograph. Such a simple toy, but so much fun.

Here are 5 toys that they can’t help but love and will keep their attention for more than a week.

1. Snap Circuits
Snap Circuits are a toy that explores the science of electronics in a fun and engaging way. These STEM toys are great for children who are interested in how things work. Isn’t that every child? Every Snap Circuits come with an easy to use project manual that can help guide children in their creations. Build alarm, flying saucers and more with pre-wired interconnections that easily snap into a rows and columns style baseboard. Sets come in various sizes, so you can make up whatever you can dream up.

2. Pretend Medical Kit
A medical kit allows your child to explore the field of health professions. This toy encourages imaginary play, compassion for others and learning about the body. From an educational standpoint, it allows children to gain new vocabulary and an understanding of basic body systems and functions.

3. Train or Car Set
Vehicle sets are a classic toy that provides endless entertainment. It allows children to be as creative as they want to be. They can configure the tracks however they see fit and set up communities and natural scenery. It’s a lesson in physics and civil engineering without any of the lectures. 4. Building Blocks
Whether you choose wood blocks, Lincoln Logs, LEGO or some other building set, these types of toys will never get old. Building blocks encourage children to use their imagination and motor skills. Many parents use them to help reinforce pattern building, symmetry and counting. As a toy or an educational manipulative, they are a lifetime of fun. Many building blocks can be washed in the dishwasher or washing machine for ease of cleaning and to extend the life of the toys.

5. Mini Jumper Trampoline
These little trampolines come with and without a handlebar. For the safety of younger children, I recommend getting one with the handlebar. A mini jumper comes in handy on rainy days or when your child is feeling a little restless or frustrated. Not only is it great exercise, but it also allows them to have a good time while making connections between their body, coordination and spatial awareness.
