2019 Product of the Year Winners

Product of the Year USA, the world’s largest consumer-voted award for product innovation, proudly announced the highly-anticipated winners of the 2019 Product of the Year Awards. Determined by a national study of 40,000 consumers conducted by Kantar, a global leader in consumer research, the 36 winning products have been awarded as the most innovative products of the year in their respective categories.

For over 30 years globally, and 11 years in the US, Product of the Year has guided consumers to the best products on the market by recognizing companies and brands for quality and product innovation.

The 36 winners of the 2019 Product of the Year Awards were announced at last night’s annual Product of the Year Awards Show at the Edison Ballroom in New York City and can be found online at womansday.com. The night kicked off with a red carpet, hosted by Sara Gore, which led into the awards show, hosted by Ross Mathews and Ali Wentworth, and was followed by an after party sponsored by Strongbow.

Product of the Year accepts entries each year from consumer packaged goods that demonstrate innovation, and were launched within the previous year. The entries span a wide breadth of product categories, such as food, beverages, personal care, household care and more, with one product being chosen as a winner in its category through a nationally representative online study of 40,000 consumers conducted by Kantar.

I had the opportunity to try out 5 of these Product of the Year award winners and let me tell you, I was impressed!!! Let’s start with the 2 cleaning products that I received. The Scrubbing Bubbles® Bubbly Bleach Gel Toilet Bowl Cleaner is honestly the BEST toilet bowl cleaner that I’ve ever used! We have well water and it causes hard water stains. I used the product to clean all 3 of the toilets in our household and within minutes they were sparkly clean. It removed all of the toilet bowl stains with ease! I didn’t have to bust my butt scrubbing for hours. I love this product so much that I tossed our old toilet cleaner into the garbage.

I’ve been using Purex laundry products almost exclusively for the past 8 years. It is indeed my preferred brand. One of the products in the line that I can’t live without is the Purex Crystals, I use them all of the time. They help our laundry smell fresh & clean and cut out static cling. I tried out the Purex Crystals New & Improved Formula and if you liked the original, you’ll love the new & improved formula even more!

My grandchildren get a lot of colds from attending school. That’s right, that’s where kids pick up the majority of germs! Both of my grandchildren tried out the HALLS KIDS Cough & Sore Throat Pops. I admit, we’ve used the HALLS throat drops before, but this was the first time trying the Throat Pops. These were real winners with both of the kids! Great job at soothing their throats and helping to tamper down the coughing.

The family has always loved OREO Cookies and I swear that I buy at least 2 packages of them every 2 weeks at the grocery store. Last week we all tried out the new OREO THINS BITES and guess what? We have a new favorite cookie in this house! If you love regular OREO’S you’re going to love these chocolate fudge dipped sandwich cookies. Oh my, I really hated sharing them! They’re on my grocery list for next week and I’ll be picking up a few bags for the family (me) to enjoy!

Kinder Joy® is a new little snack for kids that comes packaged in this egg-shaped packaging and includes a little toy. I had forgotten all about this product and forgot to give it to my granddaughter. Oh well, its sitting here waiting for her during her next visit to our home.
