Taking a Break With a Holiday Dinner Train
We’re less than 1 week away from Valentine’s Day. Do you celebrate Valentine’s Day by doing something special or is it just another day for you? For those who do celebrate it…do you do something at home or do you go out together on a romantic date?
My husband and I do enjoy going out on a romantic dinner date together. If Valentine’s Day falls during a weekend, we go out. If it falls during a weekday then we will have a romantic dinner at home and go out to celebrate the following weekend.
This year since Valentine’s Day is on a Thursday we will celebrate at home and then go out to dinner on Saturday evening.
What a fast week it has been this week. It is quite the winter wonderland here the snow is blowing sideways we sure needed it.
We have a nice dinner at home too. We just enjoy each other’s company. We had great posts this week, thanks.
My husband is not a romantic or he says he isn’t. We will usually take a little road trip (weather permitting) and have a nice lunch somewhere we have never been. It usually is is in small town, at a local place. We always look for the ‘most cars’ because if the locals eat there it has to be good. We have found some real gems that way!
I hope you have a great Valentines Day!
I agree with the quote that that is one of the ways we acquire strength. Before my husband passed away I used to make something special for Valentine’s Day. Now I celebrate different birthdays during February.
