Did you do anything special for Valentine’s Day? Since it fell during the week, my husband and I have dinner reservations for Saturday night. We lined up a sitter (mom & dad) and will be enjoying some alone time with a romantic dinner for two and a movie. Thankful my parents live close by. Other than that, the typical weekend errands of running around. What’s up for you this weekend?
I love heating pads! They are great for winter time.
We are still working on that bathroom mess. The tile guy started yesterday… and will be back Monday. I will be just cleaning up messes. But thankful I can afford to fix the bathroom and healthy enough to clean up.
Thank you for another fun week on the blog I sure have enjoyed it. It sure has been a busy week for me with Valentine’s Day and birthdays in the family. I have a MAJOR MAJOR rant to share with you ALL – I sent my father a $100.00 floral arrangement via Teleflora for Valentine’s Day then today I went to visit him and saw what they delivered to him yesterday and I am still SO mad I can not hardly see straight! OMG – a couple filler flowers and maybe one or two roses not anything like the picture on their website for the Deluxe arrangement that I paid for. He was happy and said he loved it but I was so mad all day! I took pictures of the pathetic arrangement and have been emailing Teleflora ever since I got home! Bet they Never Ever thought I would see the mess that they delivered! Lesson learned is to make sure the person who receives the flowers can take a picture of them for you so you know what you paid for. Thanks for listening. Shelly – I miss your Rants – Love Heather
Wow! I used them a few years ago to send an arrangement to my Mom on Mother’s Day and it was an awful mess too! A few of her flowers were broken off and laying in the package and the entire arrangement smelled like a moldy basement. I reamed them new buttholes over it as I paid $60 and it was awful. Took about 2 weeks and they offered me a 50% refund which I refused. After making a stink about it online they finally fully refunded my money. I haven’t used them since. I now find a local florist to where-ever I want to send flowers using the internet and call local florists in that person’s area when I order flowers.
Hi Shelly, your reply totally cracked my up thank you for making me laugh. I sent those clowns a Barn Burner of am email yesterday and still have not heard anything back. I am going to “Let The Dog OFF The Leash” when I call them!!!! Seriously, I am going to have to make sure that there is no one around to hear that call it’s gonna get ugly! It might just send me over the edge if I get someone who does not speak English! I heard that they offer you a partial refund when they mess up like they did with you and that is so not going to fly with me either. I just pray I don’t have to wait two weeks that will really piss me off even more. I will never use them again ever ever ever that a scam. Thank you for your advice I will do that from now on. Have a nice rest of your weekend.
I like the ironic twist of the quote this week. The review was handy this week for me to see what I missed.
