How many of you enjoy citrus fruits, especially pink grapefruits? They’re one of my favorites! I like to buy fresh pink grapefruit, peel off the skin and place the wedges into a plastic baggie. I then sprinkle in some granulated sugar, zip close the baggie and place it into my freezer for 10-15 minutes. Remove and snack on them ice cold. Delicious!

Sparkling Pink Grapefruit Cocktail Recipe
1oz vodka
.5oz elderflower liqueur
Sparkling Ice Pink Grapefruit
.5oz vanilla syrup
Rosemary sprig, for garnish
Grapefruit slice, for garnish
Fill cocktail shaker with ice. Combine vodka, elderflower liqueur and vanilla syrup- shake until cold. Strain into an ice filled glass and float with Sparkling Ice Pink Grapefruit. Garnish with a rosemary sprig and grapefruit slice then serve the beverage immediately. Enjoy!

I will be trying your idea of pink grapefruit segment in a bag with a bit of sugar and then in the freezer. I’d try the drink too.
