Shelly’s Thoughts: I love arts and crafts but admit…I’m no artistic painter. I enjoy sitting down and dabbling in painting projects but now its time to get serious about it. This new book is great for the beginner or the experienced painter.
The author starts by explaining to you the tools & materials that you’ll need and why you’ll need them. She then goes over various acrylic painting techniques, color theory basics and then a getting started section. Once you read through all of that and gather your supplies you’ll be ready to start painting!
You’ll find step-by-step painting projects inside the book and will learn how-to paint a dolphin, chicken, cow, cat, raccoon, giraffe, llama, elephant, flamingo, panda, fox and a dimensional pug! Everything is laid out in an easy-to-read and understand format. I really feel that this how-to book is for everyone!!!
As soon as spring arrives I’ll be hanging out in my arts & crafts room and giving a few of these projects a try. (We don’t have heat in that room, so I have to wait until spring) before I begin. Ugh.
