Today I’m featuring one of the most versatile lighting products by LifeGear that can be used all over your home, at the workplace, in the college dorm, while traveling, camping, etc. I think it would also be a great little hanging lantern to keep in your vehicle for emergencies too!

Let me introduce you to the LifeGear USB Hang Lantern with 100 Lumens. It’s small, compact, light-weight and can be used anywhere you need extra light! It features 3 light modes: High, Medium and Low. It’s waterproof and impact resistant.

One of the things I love about this little lantern is that I don’t need any batteries for it. You simply recharge it via the attached USB cable. That same USB cable doubles as a hanging strap, so that you can hang it up wherever you need it. Perfect if you want to be hands-free.

As I previously stated…you can use this hanging lantern all over your home or while you’re out and about. We’ve been using it in our travel trailer when we travel. There are times that my husband likes to read at night and a regular light will keep me up. He keeps this little lantern in the drawer beside the bed and will take it out…hang it up and gets plenty of light from it to read his book without disturbing me!

Travel trailers are really limited on storage space and this lantern is PERFECT for camping, travel trailers, the RV motorhome, etc. A few weeks ago when we were camping he used this same hanging lantern to light up the trail he was walking to the general store at night. It was a good 10 minute walk from our travel trailer and pitch black outside. You can use it just like a regular lantern or flashlight. It’s fantastic!!!

I was showing it to my 19 year old nephew who just started his first year of college a few months ago and he said it would be perfect for the college dorm too! They often need just a little bit of light to read, work on homework etc., and don’t want to light-up the entire room which would disturb their roommate. So, if you have a college kid in the family, pick up this lantern and gift it to them!!! This lantern is so versatile and I really think you all would love it!
