Just in time for the busy holiday season Sonic Drive-In has added a few new items to their menu. While out running your errands during the busy holiday season, make sure you stop in for a bite to eat!
For this foodie review we had the opportunity to try out their new Double Stack Cheeseburger that is layered with two types of mouthwatering melty cheeses and their new Sweet Soft Pretzel Twist that is lightly dusted with a sprinkling of cinnamon-sugar on top.
The Quarter Pound Double Stack Cheeseburger is huge and will really fill you up. The beef patties are cooked to perfection and you gotta love the two types of melty cheese! Hubby enjoyed his witch pickles, onions, ketchup and mayo. I enjoyed mine with just ketchup for my condiment. Oh my gosh…these burgers are sooooooo good!
I’ve been in-love with Sonic’s Soft Pretzel Twists for a few months now and always order when when I’m there. However, this was the first time that I’ve tried the Sweet Soft Pretzel Twist which came along with a little container of cream cheese frosting. You can dip your pretzel twist into the cream cheese for the ultimate sweet treat! What I really enjoyed about it was the simple fact that it wasn’t drenched in the cinnamon-sugar. It was lightly dusted with it and that’s just the way I like it. Other places that serve something similar make them too darn sweet! Sonic has it just right!!!

Both of these items sound good to me. However, the sweet pretzels are a little different and I would want to try them first.
I want to do the Sweet Soft Pretzel Twist with cream cheese frosting. I don’t think it would go with my usual Limeade….
I am so trying their new double stack cheeseburger now it looks so good. I love their food and we have several location in our area. I also love their prices. Thank you for sharing these new menu items they look really good.
I’ve loved going to Sonic since I was a kid. My favorite is still the bacon cheeseburger with a thick strawberry shake. I need to try those sweet pretzels, though.
