Cat Crimes: The Who's to Blame Logic Game

For this holiday gift guide ThinkFun sent us their Cat Crimes – Who’s to Blame Logic Game to try out for all of you. This is a single player game for ages 8 to adult. The game includes 40 crimes to solve, beginner to expert.

Game Includes: Game board, 6 cat tokens (with token stands), 6 crime tokens and 40 challenge cards with solutions.

How to Play: Select a Challenge Card and place its corresponding Crime Token onto the game board. Using the clues on the Challenge Card, determine where to place each of the Cat Tokens around the Game Board. Once you’ve satisfied all of the clues and can identify the Cat sitting in front of the Crime Token, you win the game!

Cat Crimes: The Who's to Blame Logic Game

Game Synopsis: Tangled yarn and a missing bird…which of the six furry friends was responsible for each Cat Crime? With a little problem solving you’ll be able to use paw prints, toy placement and other clues to figure out exactly where each Cat was sitting at the time of the crime. The goal of the game is to determine the identity of the guilty cat.

My 9 1/2 year old daughter loves to play games, but sometimes I’m just too busy to sit down at that exact moment and play one with her. One of the things I love about Cat Crimes is that it’s a single-player game. It’s a game she can play all by herself…anytime, anywhere. It comes nicely packaged in a compact storage box, so you can easily take the game with you to grandma’s house, to the sitters or when traveling on vacation.

Cat Crimes The Who's to Blame Logic Game

Two weeks ago I sat down with my daughter to read over the instructions and to make sure she understood how to play it. It took her less than 10 minutes to get the gist of the game and off she went! She’s been playing the game ever since!

She likes to sit on the floor in her bedroom or in her bed playing the game. Each time she’s played she’s had a different experience with it. There are 40 different crimes for her to solve and so far she’s solved 9 of them. As a parent, I love that this game requires her to sit quietly, do some thinking & problem solving and it keeps her entertained.

The Cat Crimes Logic Game and all of the ThinkFun games are available at Amazon and at neighborhood toy stores nationwide. I think this game would make a great holiday gift.
