Last month we purchased new furniture for our living room and moved our old furniture into our family room. Our sofa and chair were purchased 10 years ago and still in great shape. The only problem…my grandchildren have spilled some things on our one chair and it left stains. Other than that, no issues with the chair.

For this review we selected the Jacquard Spandex Polyester Stretch Checked Sofa Chair Slip Cover from DECONOVO to try out for all of you. This slipcover is available in various sizes to fit any sofa, chair, recliner or loveseat that you may have. It’s available in 12 different colors to match any decor. It came with a great lint brush (shown below) too!
Super-Soft Fabric
We selected the slipcover for our chair in the neutral color of beige and we selected the style to fit a 32″ to 47″ chair. One of the things I love about this slipcover is that it’s a one-piece cover and took me less than 3 minutes to put onto the chair. That’s right, less than 3 minutes and I was done!
It’s easy-care…meaning that you can machine wash it and tumble dry on low or line dry. This slipcover is really stretchy and I love that. You can stretch it to fit on an over-size chair in just about any shape. After I had it onto the chair I simply tucked it in around the cushion and I was done. It looks like it was custom-made to fit that chair!
The “hand” to this slipcover is super-soft and I mean soft! It feels like the softest baby’s blanket against your skin. I would describe it as being made out of a medium-weight fabrication…not too thin, nor too thick. Just right! I really like the checked pattern which adds a little bit of texture and interest to the fabric.
I’ve included before and after photos in my post today of our old chair. Sorry about the lighting, our small family room really stinks in regards to natural sunlight. As you can see, that slipcover gave our old chair a totally new look! The chair now looks modern, clean and updated. You would never know that there is a 10+ year old chair underneath it. Isn’t it pretty? I love it!
