As you can see, our posting schedule has really picked up pace now that we’re fully into the HGG mode. You can expect to see a minimum of 3 posts a day going up onto the blog for the rest of this month with some days having 5 posts. The reason I’m telling you this is so that you check in a few times a day, so that you can keep up with our busy holiday schedule and not fall behind.

We received a very rude email last week that I thought I would address today. A woman who has been coming to the TCC blog for about a year and ONLY enters giveaways during the last 24 hours that it’s open sent us a nasty & rude email about never winning on this blog. I answered her in a professional & nice manner (which was hard as her email was not worded nicely to us). Let me make this clear – If you enter the giveaways every day once they have posted you generate a heck of a lot more entries into that giveaway than someone who only comes over a few hours before it closes and earns 3-4 entries as compared to other readers who may earn 40 entries during that 3 week giveaway. Obviously (doesn’t take a rocket scientist to figure it out)…the person with 40 entries has BIGGER odds winning than that person with 3 entries. If you want higher chances on winning, I suggest that you don’t wait to the last minute to enter, that way you can rack up daily entries. #JustSaying Enough Said.

  1. I have noticed you gals have been super busy! Sorry not entering as many lately, I have had the flu so has hubby :/ Your HGG selection has been great this year with plenty of good ideas.

I am sorry you get emails like that Jenelle, I guess with their rudeness, they also have no concept it all comes down to numbers and maybe a bit of luck. Unfortunately for them, they do not visit except for giveaway time. You all are quite entertaining, and your posts are nice . Put them behind you, I will attest you are one of the most honest group of folks I know.

  2. I enter your giveaways almost everyday and have been fortunate to win super products many times. I respect your honesty in your reviews and appreciate the variety and thoughtfulness and humor of your posts. Thank you for the work that goes into managing such a helpful blog.

You have my permission to give my email address to that person. I would like to tell her that the other of us that take the time to do ALL the entries every day have won many times over the years. You are one of the few blogs that actually does post the winning name on the page. Does she also complain to the State Lottery that she never wins the jackpot when she buys one ticket? I am sorry you have to deal with people like that but I guess that is part of dealing with the public. I am serious about sending her my email for a testimony of your site.

I am sorry that you had such a nasty email. I always enjoy your posts and I try to enter a giveaway every day to get as many entries as possible. As you said : that is common sense.
