On September 7, Thomas the Tank Engine will leave the Island of Sodor to explore the world in his all- new movie “Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures!” Thomas will travel further than ever before, making new international friends, learning new ideas, and discovering new cultures.

In addition to the new movie, “Thomas & Friends: Big World! Big Adventures! The Series” will make its debut on September 17th, 2018. This all-new redeveloped series comes with exciting new features, from new locations and a gender-inclusive Steam Team, to new formatting seeing Thomas breaking the fourth wall, speaking directly to the audience and inviting kids along for the adventures! The series is also about to get serious about female empowerment as they welcome a new engine all the way from Kenya named Nia, who is the absolute equal of Thomas the Tank Engine and the other male engines populating the Island of Sodor. She’s independent, a great problem solver and fast learner, who is also a real optimist with a great sense of fun.

My grandson just turned 3 years old and absolutely loves Thomas the Tank Engine! He will sit and watch Thomas on TV for hours at a time if we left him. As a big fan of Thomas he owns and plays with a lot of different Thomas toys. Every time we go down a toy aisle he is immediately drawn to anything related to Thomas!
We were given the opportunity to host a movie viewing party and jumped at the chance. We invited our grandchildren, god son and nephew over for a little party. We enjoyed pizza, subs and other goodies, and then sat down to watch the movie. I was really impressed with the story line which was entertaining from start to finish. The kids would laugh throughout different parts of the movie and they all seemed to enjoy the new character Nia. If your child(ren) are Thomas the Tank Engine fans, I highly recommend the new movie.
Provided to us were some of the new Thomas the Tank Engine toys and my grandson went WILD for those! My husband set up both of the train sets in another room and we didn’t mention them until after the movie. I was afraid that if the kids saw the toys first, that I wouldn’t get them to sit still for the movie. While they were watching the film, I was able to sneak way to grab a few photos.
Like all of the Thomas the Tank Engine toys, they’re extremely well-made, colorful and very entertaining. As soon as the kids walked into the room and saw the 2 train sets set-up, their eyes got as big as saucers! It was like Christmas had come early! The kids sat and played for over 2 hours with the new train sets and absolutely love them!
Christmas and the holiday season is just around the corner and the new movie and toys to accompany the movie would make a great holiday gift! You can find Thomas the Tank Engine toys at various retailers across the nation. With that said, I wouldn’t wait until the last minute because I think these train sets will be a HOT and in-demand gift this year. My grand-kiddos love them!

My grandson is also a Thomas the Train fan and loves the TV show as well as the toys and tracks. He can occupy himself for long periods of time setting up and driving the trains around.
My nephew would love this. He is a really big Thomas fan.
