How many of you enjoy the game of mini golf? My family loves to play miniature golf and we never pass up an opportunity to try out a new course. Our favorite type’s of courses involve water features and/or courses with moving parts. If we had our way, we would probably design our own course & put it in our backyard.
Back in late June we were on vacation down to the Jersey Shore, Wildwood to be exact. When we’re down at the beach house we always seek out new places to play and stumbled upon the StarLux Mini Golf in Wildwood. It’s located down by the Wildwoods Convention Center and right across the street from the famous Wildwood Beach Balls.
The StarLux features 3 different mini golf courses and each one is in a different theme: Ocean, Boardwalk and Beach. The Boardwalk Course located on the upper deck gives you some beautiful views of the Atlantic Ocean and the Beach while playing. It has 9-holes and the theme is the Wildwood Boardwalk and the things that you see while taking a stroll on the boards.
The Ocean Course is our favorite out of the three! It has 9-holes and has a ton of water features with sea creatures who live in the ocean. It’s located on the ground with some of the holes being underneath the upper deck. Some of this course is shaded and some of it is out in the sun. We could play this course for hours and never get bored.
The Beach Course has 9-holes and features the largest artificial sandcastle and sand dunes on the island. If the sandy beach is your happy place, you’ll enjoy this course too. It was our third favorite out of the three courses that we played that day.
It took my family about 2 hours to play all three courses and to get through all 27-holes. If your a mini golf fan…all of the holes are 2-par and 3-par in difficulty. After we were done playing we headed to Kohr’s (located on the property) for some delicious soft-serve ice cream. What a great afternoon spent with the family!

This sounds like great place to visit and play miniature golf. I think the ocean theme one would be my favorite.
I am a big fan of mini golf. The courses I have played recently are 18 holes but I like the 9 holes better especially with kids. Wish I lived closer to these – they sound like such fun.
My family played mini golf a lot when I was a kid, but back then we called it putt-putt golf. It was always fun.
We LOVE to play mini golf and play the game a lot. Every time we travel we seek out new places to play. At our “older age” it is still an activity that we can do with the kids. We all love to play!
You find the best places to visit. I always look forward to seeing where you visit.
I like playing mini golf. This does look like a fun place to play. Too bad it’s 2,000 miles from me.
