Every year at the start of the fall season my family gets together and visits the local pumpkin patch. We started this family tradition 9 years ago, shortly after my daughter was born and has continued since. When we go, the family will have a contest to see who finds the best looking pumpkin!
Once we return home we will throw some hot dogs & hamburgers onto the grill. As our food cooks, everyone gets busy decorating and/or carving their pumpkin for Halloween. We like to give out rewards for the cutest, ugliest and most scariest Jack-o-Lanterns!

These look like such helpful tools to design and carve some unique and different pumpkins. It is nice for the younger ones to be able to do some of it themselves.
It looks like those Sharpies would make the process easier and less messy, lol. I like the idea of using markers or paint and not cutting the pumpkin…but I think kids prefer carving, lol.
I would love to get one of these pumpkin carving kits. I have seen some amazing pumpkins and I would like to attempt to make one like that this year. I have always enjoyed decorating for Halloween.
