THERMACELL Patio Shield Mosquito Protection TorchThe THERMACELL Patio Shield Mosquito Protection Torch is a portable mosquito repellent without the use of topical skin spray. The torch will cover a 15 foot by 15 foot zone and is easy to use! It can be used in your front yard, backyard, in your gardening, on-the-beach, lakeside and/or take it with you when camping.

How it Works: There is a heat-activated mat that releases repellent into the air creating a 15 ft. by 15 ft. mosquito protection zone. The only items that you’ll need to replace when needed are the mosquito repellent mats and the butane cartridge.

The Package Includes: 1 LED Toch with Protective Cap, 5 Pole Pieces (total pole length of 47 inches), Protective Cover, 3 Mosquito Repellent Mats, 1 Butane Cartridge and instruction sheet. You will need to supply the 4 AAA batteries which are not included.

When buying replacement butane cartridges you can find them in the 12 hours, 48 hours or 120 hours strengths that offer protection. They are readily available in retail stores across the nation or via online.

My husband spent about 5 minutes reading over the instructions and then another 5 minutes assembling it and taking it out into our backyard. Our family likes to hang out by our swimming pool which attracts those nasty mosquitoes. We can easily stake the torch into the ground near the pool and it keeps those pests away!!!

When we have friends over to our home and we’re entertaining outdoors we can easily move our new torch to our front porch area or set it up beside our back deck. It only takes 2-3 minutes to move it around, so I definitely love its portability.

We do a lot of traveling and it’s fantastic for those of you who enjoy camping, fishing, hiking or hanging out on the beach. The flies have been terrible this past year down at the beach house and you can easily stake the torch into the sand and enjoy your day on the beach…mosquito and fly-free!

    I’d like the Radius Zone Mosquito Repellent…really like that it runs over 6 hours and it’s rechargeable.

    I also like the Tick Control Tubes. I like it is only twice a year and repels deer ticks which are dangerous to people and also pets.
