What? We’re into the middle of August already? This summer in regards to weather has really sucked! We typically get hot enough to enjoy my parent’s pool about the second week in June. This year we didn’t get into it until June 30th due to the chilly temps & rainy weather. During the month of July we got hit with rain 19 out of 31 days we had some type of rain with 9 days of heavy rain in a row which caused a lot of terrible flooding. We like being outdoors in the pool or on the beach and this summer has really sucked in regards to weather. Kind of sad to think that summer will be coming to an end and we didn’t get to enjoy a lot of the great outdoors this past season.
I am looking forward to all the cookbooks, arts and crafts books and recipes. I also appreciate all the tips you give on different things.
We have hot weather here. Now we have nasty popup thunderstorms every day this week. It is so hot and some cool air sneaks in…. and BOOM. Get out of the pool and inside for us. I am looking forward to all the new posts you have planned for us this. week.
