A Fun Day at Morey’s Piers Amusement Park

August 15, 2018 by Shelly

Morey's Piers Amusement Park in Wildwood New JerseyMorey’s Piers and Beachfront Waterparks is located in Wildwood, New Jersey and just as they’re name implies…they’re a combination amusement park and waterpark that is directly located on the beach & boardwalk.

When you’re on the Wildwood Island the first thing you’ll see is the famous “Big Wheel” ferris wheel. At night you can see it from a distance when all of the beautiful ferris wheel lights have been turned on. Since I’m afraid of heights, I’ve never been on it.

A few weeks ago when we were down on vacation my family spent an afternoon enjoying some of the amusement park rides at Morey’s Piers. What’s really cool about this amusement park is that its spread out onto 3 different piers! Each one has its own unique vibe and flavor.

You can pay for each ride as you go along or you can buy and all-day pass. To make it more economical on us…we purchase the kids an all-day pass and then the adults pay-per-ride as we go along. Let’s face it, as adults we don’t get on as many rides as the kids!

My family spent a total of 5 hours at the amusement park and we had a great time! Besides the rides…you’ll find 2 waterparks, carnival-style games to play and numerous places where you can pick up a bite to eat. As you can see, the weather was absolutely gorgeous on the day that we were there.

Well, there ya go! A sneak peek at some of the things my family has been enjoying this summer! How about you? Do you enjoy going to amusement parks? If so, do you have favorite one that you like to visit?

So many things to do! I love the ferris wheel, so pretty! I do not mind heights at all and I love the way ferris wheels give you such a great view of everything. We usually go to the Iowa State Fair, bu havent yet gone this year. I bet you all had a great time here.

I love Wildwood and Morey’s Pier. I spent many summers down in Wildwood when I was growing up. Then my husband & I brought our daughters down there. Now its time to bring my grandson. So many wonderful memories.

We try to go to the park near us once a year with our grandchildren. Fun day but boy is it exhausting for all. The one we go to like yours has a waterpark and with our hot temperatures that where we spent most of our time.

The waterparks would be where we’d head, lol. I think adults need to learn how to play again like we did as kids!

I wasn’t familiar with Moreys Piers Amusement Park. However, our family really enjoys amusement parks as well and we go to Busch Gardens, in Tampa Fl which is about 10 miles from our house. There is something about cotton candy, giant pretzel and hot dogs that brings out the child in all of us.
