Fruity Acai Bowl Recipe

August 23, 2018 by Carol

Fruity Acai Bowl RecipeHow many of you enjoy eating acai berries? I started eating them a few years ago after reading an article on their health benefits. I typically toss acai berries in my breakfast smoothie or into a good homemade vanilla bean ice cream. I need to really branch out and try acai berries in more foodie items and recipes. Have you tried an acai bowl yet? If so, what kind of toppings do you use?

Today’s guest post recipe is courtesy of Sparkling Ice.

Fruity Acai Bowl Recipe

2 packs frozen acai
1 large banana
1/2 cup frozen blueberries
1/2 cup almond milk
1/2 cup Sparkling Ice Pomegranate Blueberry
Toppings (optional):
Banana, sliced
Coconut flakes
Berries
Granola

Put all of the ingredients in a blender until smooth. Add your preferred toppings and serve immediately.

I have never tried an acai bowl. This recipe sounds delicious. I am just not sure how well I can digest it.

That looks really good. I love anything with granola in it, and the fruit would really add to it.

This looks delicious! I buy Ice all the time and keep in the fridge for a tasty alternative to water and even add to cocktails. However, I am not familiar with acai berries.
