Decorating with Beach and Coastal Garden Flags

Love the beach and the coastal way of life? Just want to celebrate the summer season? If so, one of the easiest ways to give your yard and garden areas an update is by investing in a few seasonal garden flags.

I love garden flags and own a lot of them! I change my flags out according to the season and/or holiday. What is really nice is that once you purchase your metal garden flag holder and a few garden flags…you can use them year after year.

Last week I decided to update two of my garden flags and I’m excited to show you the designs that I purchased. Yes, I personally purchased them from Amazon and I paid full price.

Coastal Wreath Summer Garden Flag Welcome with Nautical Shells

The Coastal Wreath Summer Garden Flag Welcome with Nautical Shells measures 12.5″ x 18″ in size. It’s made out of 100% all-weather polyester sun-fade and mildew resistant. It’s made by Briarwood Lane and is really colorful. I love that turquoise color! The welcome wreath features moon shells, starfish, sand dollars, scallop shells and sea urchins.

This adorable garden flag is currently priced at $8.99 and will ship for FREE if you have Amazon Prime. I love how it looks displayed in my one flower bed in front of our home. Doesn’t it look beautiful? I think so!!! If you love it, don’t wait too long to buy it! It’s regularly priced at $9.99 and is currently a dollar off at $8.99 each! What a deal.

Day in the Sun Beach Garden Flag with Summer Flip Flops Shoreline

The Day in the Sun Beach Garden Flag  with Summer Flip Flops Shoreline measures 12.5″ x 18″ in size. It’s made out of 100% all-weather polyester sun-fade and mildew resistant. It’s made by Briarwood Lane and is really colorful. I love sitting on the beach and sticking my toes in the sand. On top of that, I’m a person who enjoys shelling and collecting seashells while at the beach.

This garden flag is typically priced at $9.99 and is currently on sale for $8.99 each. If you have Amazon Prime, it will ship for free. Gotta love that design with the flip-flops and seashells! I have it display in our front yard near some of our bushes that line the walkway. It adds a nice splash of color and our guests are greeted with a welcome message as they arrive. I might move it around to our backyard and display it near our pool. I haven’t decided yet.

Mermaid Summer Garden Flag Nautical Fish

While browsing around all of their designs over there on Amazon I stumbled upon the Mermaid Summer Garden Flag with Nautical Fish design and I don’t have that one yet! Oh my gosh, I immediately fell in-love with that design! I love the colors, the mermaid and the seashells! I’m seriously thinking about ordering that one next and perhaps placing it near our sitting area by the swimming pool. She’s gorgeous and currently on sale for only $5.99 each!!!

If you don’t have a Garden Flag Wrought Iron Display Stand yet…you can get those from Briarwood Lane over on Amazon too! I don’t recommend plastic or wooden stands as they get really ugly from the weather, quickly. If you buy a nice wrought iron display stand…it will last you for years! One of mine is currently 9 years old and still going strong!

Shelly’s Tips: I love decorating my yard and garden areas with beautiful garden flags! Once the season is over…I toss them into my washing machine on the gentle cycle to clean them. Once done, I hang them up to air dry and then pack them away for next year. I store mine in plastic storage boxes that I picked up at my local Dollar Store and I label my boxes according to the season and holiday. You can stack the boxes up on a shelf, underneath your bed, garage or store them in your attic.

My favorite is the coastal wreath flag. I love those colors, very much like the ocean.

    • Yes, that’s my favorite one too! Last night I went and counted up my garden flags, I have 27 of them and then I have 11 large house flags 🙂

I like the top one you have up and I adore that mermaid! I love garden flags and I bet yours is so pretty. I have such naughty neighbor kids right now flags and a whole lot of anything else is out. I love kids don’t get me wrong but there are days after they have pulled up an entire tomato plant so they can throw them I want a non scaleable fence. I am hoping they move soon 🙂

  4. These flags are so pretty I especially like the first one the Coastal Summer Wreath flag. I had no idea that you could buy these on Amazon and some of those prices are amazing. I love how these flags look in a garden or in front of the house.

    • I used to buy them at a local store here in PA but they charge 45% more for them. Screw that! Much cheaper on Amazon! Some of my flags I’ve had for 9 years. I change them out all of the time. Love them!
