Frugal Finds: Beach and Coastal Home Decor Accents

July 23, 2018 by Shelly

Frugal Finds and Hot DealsIt’s been awhile since I posted a Fun, Frugal, Finds post, so today I thought it would be fun to share with you my latest bargain shopping finds!

As you all know, I decorate my home in a beach & coastal style. Every room in my home (except for two – the man cave and the family game room) are decorated by me in a coastal style. The other two rooms, well…those rooms belong to my hubby and he can decorate however he chooses.

Earlier this month I went out to one of my favorite craft stores A.C. Moore’s to pick up some general craft supplies that I needed. While I was in there I stumbled upon some clearance items that I just had to have! You’re going to be shocked at how much I paid!

Coastal Design Wall Collage Photo Frame

First up is the large wall collage photo frame that holds six 4×6 photographs. The center section is done in a beach theme which I love. This collage photo frame was regularly priced at $24.99 and was marked down to $10.00 on clearance.

Second up is the flameless 6″ tall pillar candle with a six-hour timer. It’s made out of real wax and is adorned with a seashell. I love the turquoise color and it looks beautiful sitting in our master bathroom. It was originally priced at $9.99 and was on clearance for $2.50.

Finally is the wooden wall plaque done in a beach theme. It’s hard to see in my photo, but the wording says “Love You to the Beach and Back”. My granddaughter and I say that to one another all of the time! We started out with saying to the moon and back and then a few years ago we changed it to the beach & back. I picked this up for the Princess to hang-up in her bedroom and it was marked down to $1.00.

My sub-total for all three items came to $13.50 and then I used a coupon to get an additional 10% off, plus earned reward points on my purchase. I LOVE LOVE LOVE to go out and find bargains like this!!!

So, have you found any good bargains lately? I’m hoping to hit up the local flea market next weekend to see what I can find.

Good deals and even better to get to use your coupon. How special that you were able to find the wall plaque for your granddaughters room.

I love A.C. Moore. I wish we had one near here. I do have a Hobby Lobby which is just as good. You got great deals.

Fun that you could find ‘love you to the beach and back’ for your granddaughter. I was at the thrift store a week ago and got 2 lovely tops and a pair of purple pants for $9.

Wow looks like you scored some great beach decor items at some awesome prices. I love it when I find a great deal it just makes my day. I haven’t been shopping in awhile with all that is going on here in our area with forest fires emergencies but I am looking forward to the future when I can get my mind off of all this and go on a shopping spree.

I haven’t been shopping in a while but like you I love a good sale. I always head straight for clearance first. I really like that frame! Good job!
