Dollar Bill Animals in Origami Book by John Montroll

Dollar Bill Animals in Origami Book by John MontrollLast year my husband attended a business meeting for work and came home with a dollar bill that was folded up to look like a swan. Why you might ask? The employees had to take a course on arts & crafts and how they can be used to reduce work-related stress. From that time forward he has taken an interest in Dollar Bill Origami.

Our Thoughts: My husband sat down with his new book and spent an evening going through it. He read up on the techniques used and marked some of the pages in the book on the animals that he would like to make. One of the things he really likes about this instructional book is the easy-to-follow diagrams. Each diagram walks you step-by-step through making the animal. In the back of the book you’ll find a section that teaches you some of the basic folds used in Origami and he suggests you start there. It’s a really cool book and he’s been having a lot of fun with it. Heck, he’s been teaching our 9 year old granddaughter some of the easier designs to make. She’s loving it too!
