Baby Magic Calming Baby Lotion with Lavender and Chamomile

I’ve been a big fan of Baby Magic products for the past 25 years! I’ve used the baby wash and body lotions on my daughter when she was little and now on both of my grandchildren. Their products are hypoallergenic, soothing to the skin and moisturizing.

In March of 2018 I underwent major surgery to have my knee replaced. The surgery was extremely painful and I had a lot of post-op complications. Within the first week of having the surgery the skin on my left leg became very angry. All bath and body products that I was trying to use was irritating my skin! I broke out with rashes, bumps and blisters. My skin became sore, dry and itchy. It was terrible!

My surgeon told me that some people react badly to bath & body products following surgery. He recommended that I switch over to Baby Magic Baby Wash and Baby Lotions to see if my skin would calm down. Well, it did and within 2 weeks, my skin was looking 90% better. I’ve been using the products ever since!

Recently I had the opportunity to try out the Baby Magic Calming Baby Lotion made with real Lavender and Chamomile. I’ve purchased the Lavender & Chamomile products before, but have always given them to my daughter to use on my grandchildren. I had never used them on myself…until now.

Usually I stay clear of any products with a lavender fragrance as I find that it can be overwhelming to my senses. However, the lavender and chamomile fragrance in the Baby Magic products is light and airy. Nothing overwhelming about it at all. It actually smells very nice!

I swapped out the original fragrance and started using the Lavender & Chamomile fragrance as soon as my complimentary products arrived. The baby lotion just glides across your skin and absorbs quickly, leaving behind a light lavender fragrance. There is no oily or sticky residue at all…just smooth and silky skin after application. You can apply and immediately get dressed.

Now that my surgical incision is completely closed and healing, I’ve been applying it all around the area. If you’ve had surgery before, you know how angry and dry your skin gets following surgery. After applying it twice a day for three days, I noticed that my skin looked 90% more moisturized and the dry patches were gone. My doctor was pretty impressed with how my skin looked too!

Best time to apply the baby lotion? I like to slather it all over my body after I get my bath or shower, while my skin is still a little moist. I apply it liberally all over my body! I specifically like applying it right before I go to bed…I find that it helps to calm me before I head off to sleep. I’m loving the Baby Magic Calming Baby Lotion!!!
