Universal Travel Tote for a Rollator, Walker or Wheelchair

June 5, 2018 by Shelly

Back in March of this year I underwent a left total knee joint replacement. It was one of the most painful surgeries with a difficult recovery period that I ever went through! Joint replacement is no joke and this was my second one in less than 5 years.

Universal Travel Tote for a Rollator, Walker or Wheelchair

I knew ahead of time that I would be using a Rollator Walker for several weeks after my surgery, throughout my recovery period. From past experience, I know how hard it can be to tote around your personal belongings while dragging along a walker or being in a wheelchair.

Over on Amazon I found an affordable tote bag that will attach to your walker, Rollator or Wheelchair using 2 easy-to-use velcro-closure straps. The Rollator Bag by Vive was one of the best things that I purchased to use during my recovery time!!!

It’s a nice sized tote bag that measures 12” wide by 12” high by 4.5” deep. I was able to put everything that is normally in my handbag into this tote bag and then some! The inside compartment is extremely roomy and is “light” in color, so I can easily see the items within bag.

There are pockets on the outside of the bag (five of them) for the items that you need to grab quickly, like your water bottle, cellphone, keys, sunglasses, etc. I love how those pockets kept me organized. If you should get it dirty or if something spills inside the tote bag, you can toss it into the washer and then air dry. Easy cleaning!!!

One of the really cool things I love about this bag is this – It comes with a detachable shoulder strap, so now that my recovery is finished, I can now use it as a regular tote bag and sling it over my shoulder with ease! It’s light-weight and waterproof.

I wanted to share my personal experience with this product with our blog readers who may be considering one for themselves or for a loved one. I would NOT hesitate in purchasing another one for myself or for a family member who needed one. I give it a HUGE 10 stars out of 10 stars on my rating scale.

This sounds like a great tote for a rollator or walker. I shall pass this information on to my friend who recently had knee surgery. I hope you improve more quickly than expected

This looks like a nice bag and I love how easy it is to attach/detach. I am so glad you are on the mend and are feeling better. I cannot imagine how painful that has to be.

Yes, slowly but surely, I’m coming along. The first 5 weeks were pure HECK and something I don’t want to experience again. Really glad that they’re letting me go out and about again now.

I think velcro is one of the best inventions of the 20th century. That is a great bag and I like that it uses velcro to attach it.

I am so glod to hear that you are feeling better Shelly. That surgery sounds really painful. This bag sounds really helpful and I like that Amazon price.

Thank you Heather. I’m coming along. It’s a long process that can take up to 6 months, since I had a few complications early on.
