For this review I received the new Silibowl which is an innovative 2-in-1 product. It’s a bowl with lid and a plate all in one! The bowl is 100% food grade silicone with an embedded stainless steel ring to hold its shape. It won’t collapse when gripped and when you press down on the center of the lid it will give you an airtight fit. This will help food to stay fresh, longer.

Silicone is BPA-Free, DEHP-Free and Hypo-Allergenic. You can use this set in your microwave and it’s dishwasher, refrigerator and freezer safe. The bowl will hold up to 8 oz. of wet or dry food.

Before First Use: The company recommends that you wash it with warm, soapy water and rinse. You’ll then want to drop it into boiling water for 2 minutes to sterilize. Wash and rinse after each use to prevent odor absorption.

For the past few weeks I’ve been looking for some on-the-go containers. The new Silibowl is absolutely perfect for my needs. I can put my son’s soup or oatmeal into the bowl and reheat them up in the microwave. I can also use this bowl for his dry snacks for when we’re running errands around town or for when I pack him preschool lunches.

A few days ago I gave him some ice cream in the bowl which he didn’t finish. I then placed the lid onto the bowl & into the freezer it went. An hour later when he was finally ready to finish it, I had it ready-to-go and no food waste! It’s a really nice silicone bowl!
