I think it is true that as one gets older, we do tend to eat less and maybe not get all of the nutrients and vitamins that are needed. Supplements can be a benefit if they are the right ones.
At 51, I take more vitamins and supplements then previously. However, I am also more healthy than in my younger years. Almost daily I ask myself if I really need this many vitamins and after seeing my blood work improve, the answer is Heck Yeah.
