Wilson Naturals Organic Beet Root Powder

May 15, 2018 by Carol

Wilson Naturals Organic Beet Root PowderI’m approaching the age of 70 and for the past couple of years I’ve struggled with a few different medical problems. As we age, it’s important that we eat healthy, get regular exercise and see our doctor regularly for check-ups.

A couple of weeks ago I saw an infomercial on television about the health benefits of consuming red beets. This infomercial was selling a “beet powder” but it was too expensive for me to buy on a limited income. I decided to get online to do some additional research and found a similar, more affordable product over on Amazon which I decided to buy.

Wilson Naturals Organic Beet Root Powder

Let me introduce you to Wilson Natural Beet Root Powder that is made from 100% pure beets. You can mix this powder into your favorite milkshakes, protein shakes, juices, smoothies, ice cream, yogurts, etc. Heck, you can toss it into your baked goods batter too!

Directions: Mix 1 1/2 teaspoons with 6 oz. of water or to your favorite juice to add color, natural sweetness, vitamins, minerals and more. Even though this is the recommended amount, you can use more or less to your own personal liking.

Per the Company: Wilson Naturals Organic Beet Juice Powder is filled with nutrients, phytonutrients, antioxidants, minerals, vitamins, nitrates and more as a healthy way to boost your nutrition. The compounds are widely studied by groups such as the American Heart Association for their ability to lower blood pressure, support healthy detoxification, and increase endurance for exercising.

As you can see, a little bit of the beet root powder goes a long way!!! I’ve been adding it into my fruit smoothies, homemade juices, vanilla yogurt, ice cream, frozen yogurts, etc. In addition, I’m been adding it into my homemade fruit muffin batters, homemade cobblers, etc. A few days ago I took some butter and whipped it up with my mixer until it was cream, soft and smooth. I then mixed in 1 1/2 teaspoons of the beet powder to make my own beet butter. I placed it back into the refrigerator and I’ve been smoothing it onto my toast, bagels and English muffins in the morning. A delicious way to start my day!

I’ve been using the beet root powder for a few weeks now and I’m enjoying it. I feel like I have more energy and overall I just feel healthier. I’m going to continue using it, so hopefully I’ll see even more great results.

This is the first time I have heard of this product. I think I would enjoy using it. Do you know if it is safe to use for toddlers too?
