Ultimate Contouring with Osmosis Colour Beauty Sponge & Performance Wear Foundation

May 17, 2018 by Kristine

I like to be in the know when it comes to the latest trends and I’ve definitely been behind a bit when it comes to contouring. If you aren’t up to speed—let me give you a little backgrounder. Contouring is an art of sorts. The art of applying your makeup with a specially designed sponge that makes blending a breeze and if done correctly, can highlight your face in a seamless, streak-free way.

I was recently sent a Beauty Sponge from Osmosis Colour Mineral Cosmetics that helps give you the right tool to flawlessly apply foundation/make up. I’ve also been trying out the Osmosis Performance Wear Satin Foundation with the sponge. I’m excited to tell you about both of these great products today.

Osmosis Colour Beauty Sponge & Performance Wear Foundation

First, let’s talk about the Osmosis Colour Beauty Sponge. This new multitasking tool is uniquely shaped and helps you blend and contour with ease. The shape of the sponge allows for a customized application. You can use the round shape to place base foundations onto the face, the flat side for highlighting and contouring and the pointed tip for narrow areas like the eyes and nose. Its rounded end efficiently covers larger surface areas such as the cheeks, chin, and forehead, while the pointed tip and flat edge reaches smaller areas like the nose and eyes for precision concealing and highlighting. I typically have a harder time using concealer around my eyes and this sponge makes it so easy.

The Osmosis Colour Beauty Sponge can be used wet or dry for different results. If you like a dewier, fresher look, the wet sponge is ideal. You just dampen the sponge a bit and gently squeeze out excess water for better transfer to your skin. If you want a more matte look, use the sponge dry. For a seamless foundation application, apply a small amount of product directly to the rounded end of the sponge and dab all over the face before blending. Dab, dab, dab is totally fab! This compact and convenient tool ensures seamless, streak-free makeup that will become a must to your daily beauty routine.

Speaking of your beauty routine, the sponge won’t do you much good without a high-quality foundation to apply onto your beautiful canvas. The Osmosis Perfmormance Wear Satin Foundation is silky-smooth and provides long-wearing, buildable coverage with a lightweight feel on the skin. What I really love about it is that it contains calming chamomile to promote anti-aging and hydration while smoothing and plumping the skin to deliver a flawless, rejuvenated look. It feels great on your skin and is available in five shades to work with any type of skin tone.

The sponge and foundation are both available now on the Osmosis Skincare website. You can connect with the company on Facebook.

I only wear foundation these days so try to find a quality one that looks natural. I started using a contour sponge many years ago and find it something that I must have now.
