We’re halfway through the month of May and the first official holiday of summer – Memorial Day is just around the corner. Every year my husband and I host the family’s Memorial Day party & backyard barbecue. We invite members from both sides of our family, along with a few neighbors and friends. Will you be hosting or attending a Memorial Day party or picnic this year? When it comes to outdoor barbecues, what type’s of foods do you enjoy eating? What are you looking forward to this holiday?

We dont usually do a Memorial Day party, I guess its because what it is, and we are from a largely military family on both sides. Hubby has taken to helping put flags out. We do enjoy a BBQ on other days though, and we love hamburgers and ho dogs.
