Portable and Powerful Thermacell Radius Zone Mosquito Repellent

May 25, 2018 by Shelly

During the summertime my family spends a lot of time outdoors. We enjoy going camping, hiking, playing at the park, hanging out in our swimming pool and we get together for weekly backyard barbecues.

Thermacell Radius Zone Mosquito Repellent

While we enjoy being outdoors, we don’t enjoy getting bit up mosquitoes! Matter of fact, my granddaughter and I are both allergic to mosquito bites! Our bites well-up to the size of walnuts, turn red, itch and ooze with icky stuff. Oh my gosh, we hate those pesky critters and the bites they leave behind!!!

For the past few years we’ve been combating our mosquito problem by using various mosquito-repelling products made by Thermacell. Over the years I’ve reviewed several of them here on the blog and I’ve purchased them too!

Thermacell Radius Zone Mosquito Repellent

Today I want to introduce you to the new Thermacell Radius Zone Mosquito Repellent and in my honest opinion, it’s their BEST product yet!!! It’s compact, portable, and powerful. It offers rechargeable, scent-free protection from biting pests in a 110 square foot area. With just the touch of a button it will provide you with hours of bug-free comfort and it’s air travel friendly too! No more sticky sprays and lotions or dousing yourself in DEET.

Thermacell Radius features:

* Rechargeable USB Lithium-ion battery
* Cordless, lightweight, minimalist design
* Automatic shut off timer
* Fast acting – the zone of protection forms in just minutes with up to six hours of run time per charge
* Long-life refills available, up to 40 hours each
* No sticky sprays, oily lotions, or active ingredients that can damage gear
* No messy fuels or smoke
* Air-travel friendly

Thermacell Radius Zone Mosquito Repellent

A Lithium Ion battery enables a single refill system, using a lone repellent refill. Long-life Radius refills are available with up to 40 hours of repellent action, and can be started and stopped as often as needed. The lithium-ion battery is USB rechargeable, allowing for up to six hours of run time per charge, and even features an automatic shut off timer.

We’ve been using the Thermacell Radius Zone Mosquito Repellent when we’re outside sitting on the front porch, entertaining friends & family out in our backyard and we’ll be taking it along with us when we go camping this summer. It’s light-weight and compact in size. You can easily tote it around in your backpack, tote bag, luggage or in the trunk of your car.

Thermacell Radius Zone Mosquito Repellent

When at home…we place it on a small table on our front porch or back deck and it gives us the entire coverage that we need. We take it outside and turn it on about 15 minutes before we all head outside. You won’t smell any foul odors and frankly, it’s attractive to look at. You would never know that little thing was a mosquito repellent machine!

You can learn more about this product and other products made by Thermacell by visiting their official website online.

    Mosquitoes are terrible where we live. We burn citronella candles and have planted lemon balm plants. I have gone so far as to make homemade “concoctions” and sprayed around our outbuildings. Needless to say, I would really love to win this.
