Over the years we’ve featured hundreds of different easy-to-make cocktail beverage recipes here on our blog. Today we’ve got another one for you and it’s an innovative Cinco cocktail made with the just released La Luna Mezcal. If you’re looking for something different to try, I think you’ll enjoy this one.
The Monarca La Luna Mezcal Cocktail Recipe
1 oz La Luna Mezcal (made in Michoacán)
1 oz Gustoso Blanco Rum (made in Michoacán)
1/2 oz zarzamora (or blackberry) syrup
1/8 oz passion fruit syrup
3/4 oz grapefruit juice
3/4 oz Lime juice
1/8 oz Luxardo Maraschino
Dash of bitters
Mix all ingredients in a cocktail shaker with ice, shake vigorously. Strain into a coupe glass. Finish with a splash of club soda. Garnish with a blackberry, orange peel, and sprig of fresh thyme.

This cocktail has a beautiful color. I have no idea what type of liquor is in La Luna Mezcal.
