The Importance of Water Conservation While Brushing Your Teeth
How many of you make a conscious effort to conserve water in and around your home? My family is really big on water conservation and we do everything that we can to conserve water. Not only is water conservation important to our planet, but conserving water can help you to save money on your water bill too.

Colgate is encouraging all of us to help save water by simply turning off the water faucet while brushing our teeth.
Water scarcity is a problem all over the world, including here in the United States which many of us don’t realize. Did you know that 4 billion people live under the conditions of severe water scarcity at least 1 month out of the year, and 130 million of those people live in America?
To help combat the water crisis, Colgate released an exclusive special pack, only available at Walmart. Enclosed in the pack is a water-activated sink drain sticker that will reveal the message “Turn off the Faucet” when wet. Simply peel and apply the sticker to your sink stopper, a daily to turn off the faucet while brushing.
We received one of these newly released packs to check out for all of you. Our package contained Colgate Total Whitening Toothpaste and the peel-n-stick sticker for our bathroom sink stopper.
My family’s preferred toothpaste brand is indeed Colgate and we’ve been using a variety of Colgate toothpastes, toothbrushes and mouthwash over the past 20 years. In my honest opinion, there is nothing better on the market! Anyway, we placed the peel-n-stick on our bathroom sink stopper to help remind us to turn off the faucet while brushing our teeth.
The adults in my home are great about turning off the water while brushing their teeth, but both of my young grandchildren need reminders. Having this special sticker on the sink stopper is exactly that…a reminder to turn off the faucet while brushing their teeth. Once the sticker is dry…it turns a solid white again. Once it gets wet, you’ll see the wording reappear. Super cool!
