Dishcloths to Crochet Book – Fun Designs to Brighten Your Kitchen

When I was 14 years old my mother taught me how to crochet and the first thing that I completed was a dishcloth. Back in those days Moms helped their daughters to put together a “hope chest” of items that they would need once they got married. Over the following 4 years I added several crocheted dishcloths, doilies, afghans, table runners, and other items that I had made.

This pattern book is for crocheters of all skill levels and includes step-by-step directions, color photographs, and directions on how you can turn your dishcloths into potholders with the simple addition of a ring. I’m someone who is very experienced with crochet and even though I’m experienced, I really feel that a newbie could do the majority of these patterns too.

The book includes crochet abbreviations & their meanings, directions to make the hanging loop (if you want one) and in the back of the book you’ll find a handy crochet hook sizes and conversion chart. If you want to make your dishcloths smaller or larger in size, this conversion chart will help you with that.

Now that I’m finally recovering from major surgery, I’m going to head out to my local craft store next weekend to pick up some cotton yarn in the colors that I need. I first want to make the lobster and crab dishcloths (to go with my coastal kitchen) and then I want to make that adorable owl dishcloth for my one aunt who adores owls. FUN, FUN, FUN!
