Skincare Tips: How to Get Glowing SkinI recently turned 67 years old and I’ve always taken care of my skin. When I was in my mid-twenties, I started on my first skincare system and over the years, I’ve changed it, added to it and modified it as I aged. Some of the products that I’ve used have helped and other’s, not-so-much. However, I have learned a lot of great skincare tips on how to get “glowing skin” and I wanted to share them with you today.

Anti-Aging Skincare Tips: How to Get Glowing Skin

* Drink plenty of water.

* Eat a nutritious diet (a lot of fruit and fresh vegetables).

* Avoid harmful environmental factors – Protect your skin from pollution.

* Avoid harsh chemicals (try to go natural and/or organic).

* Take vitamins made specifically to improve your skin’s health which work from the inside out.

* Don’t pick at your skin or squeeze acne breakouts which can cause scarring. While tempting, you need to avoid it.

* Get plenty of exercise and that includes exercises that you can now do with your facial muscles. You can find a variety of free facial exercises and facial workouts online.

* Use a skin care regimen consistently and look for products that work together. Your system should include: a cleanser, exfoliator, moisturizer, a serum to target specific needs and a sunscreen to block the harmful rays of the sun.

* Use a broad-spectrum sunscreen with at least 30 SPF every day, whether you’re going out or staying indoors. UVA rays can cause premature skin aging while UVB burns the skin. Wearing sunscreen and avoiding the sun during peak hours (from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.) helps protect your skins from sun damage and premature aging.

* Reduce your stress level and learn to relax & laugh more! Stress and tension is harmful to our health and speeds up the aging process.

* Get plenty of sleep. Consider investing in a beauty pillowcase which will help to prevent lines on your face when you awake and some can help to moisturize your skin while you sleep.

    Iam horrible about doing an entire skincare routine. I mean I know I should but seriously sometimes I look and cringe. I wonder if it’s too late. I will do it maybe 3 times a week.
