Vitamins Play an Important Part in Your Skincare Routine

Vitamins Play an Important Part in Your Skincare RoutineTaking good care of your skin is vitally important to your overall health. After all, it is your body’s largest organ! You need to ingest vitamins on a daily basis and apply those same vitamins to your skin for optimum healthy results.

Here is a little list of the vitamins that your skin needs to stay healthy and look its best.

* Vitamin C – Helps to restore skin’s luster, appearance of youthfulness, repair tissue damage and it increases collagen production.

* Vitamin E– Helps to repair skin damage, reduce scarring and stimulates cell regeneration.

* Vitamin A – Helps to regulate sebum production, reduce acne breakouts and prevents clogged pores.

* Vitamin B – Helps to retain skin’s moisture, reduce wrinkles and helps to heal up dry, scaly patches.

* Vitamins C & E – Help to protect the skin from sun and environmental damage. Selenium can help to reduce fine lines and wrinkles.

* Retinol A (Retinoic Acid) – is a form of vitamin A that helps to treat fine lines & wrinkles, lighten and prevent age spots and can help to retexturize your skin.

Although not a vitamin, you need to drink plenty of water for skin health. In addition, use a good hydrating moisturizer and make sure to cleanse your skin with a good cleanser at least once a day.

    I always knew vitamins were good for me but I got a great example recently. My mother was in the hospital and rehab for over a month. In that month I was just so busy I did not take any of my vitamins. By the end of the month i could tell with my skin and nails … Back on schedule

    I agree that vitamins are very important for one’s skin as well as general health. I take various vitamins and supplements.

    I do take a multiple vitamin made for women. Its nice to know that I’m helping myself.

    I keep forgetting how good other vitamins are for you. I do take C every day. I put them with my other pills I take daily.

    I wish I c could remember to take my multi vitamin on a daily basis! I am honestly bad at remembering. The silly part is it is right by my other meds that I do take daily. I need to take better care of myself for real.
