Last month I had major surgery and along with that a lot of unexpected complications. The past 4 weeks have been long, hard and at times, extremely painful. I’m looking forward to recovering and enjoying a nice summer season in the near future.

In the meantime…I wanted to update my summer wardrobe with some new casual fashion pieces. I’m 50 years old and live in capri’s and tees during the hot summertime months. Since I can’t go out shopping right now (recovering from surgery), I decided to shop online at Swap.com. Have you ever shopped there? If not, you really need to head on over to their website and check it out. They are the largest online consignment and thrift store that carries affordable baby, children’s, women’s and men’s clothing & accessories.
For this shopping spree I was given a $100 e-gift card by the company. Since I’m thrifty, I wanted to see how many beautiful items I could add to my summer wardrobe for $100 or less. To my amazement, I got 10 items that arrived in beautiful and clean condition. Matter of fact, every item was in “almost” new condition. To stretch the budget to the max…I selected pieces that I could mix-n-match together.
1. Denim & Co. Jacket – This turquoise colored jacket can be worn 3 seasons out of the year. It has a quilted body, knit sleeves, an attached hood, 2 side pockets and a zip-up front.
2. Denim & Co. Capri’s – These capri’s are in a beautiful coral color with an easy pull-on style. I love that they’re in a solid color and will work well with several of my printed tees.
3. Croft & Barrow Tee – This knit tee is done in your classic t-shirt style with short sleeves and a high-scoop neckline. The fun coral & paisley pattern looks extremely nice with the capri’s listed above.
4. Croft & Barrow Tee – This knit tee is done in the same exact styling as the tee listed above, but done in a different color scheme and with a floral pattern. I can mix-n-match both of the tees with the coral colored capri’s.
5. Adidas Capri’s – We spend a lot of time outdoors during the summertime, so I wanted a pair of “athletic” capri’s to wear while we’re out hiking, walking, biking, etc. These capri’s feature a mesh lining with an easy pull-on style.
6. Croft & Barrow Tee – I selected this tee in a pretty white, black and gray paisley pattern to wear with the Adidas Capri’s and I can wear them with other bottoms in my wardrobe too!
7. Nike Capri’s – As I previously stated, I like to add 1-2 pairs of “athletic” style capri’s to my summer wardrobe every year. I fell in-love with these capri’s because they feature a dri-fit fabrication. Picking them up in a dark gray color is extremely figure-flattering too!
8. Croft & Barrow Tee – As you probably can tell, I love the Croft & Barrow brand and have been buying that brand for several years. I couldn’t resist picking up this white & teal floral print tee to wear with my new Nike Capri’s.
9. Quacker Factory Capri’s – These capri pants are totally adorable! I selected them in white which will go with almost everything in my summer wardrobe. I love the easy pull-on styling and at each leg opening are grommets with sparkly rhinestones to add some additional bling. Cute and fun!
10. Quacker Factory Tunic – To even out my new summer wardrobe I selected this Quacker Factory tunic length, 3/4 sleeve top to wear with the above capri’s. The front has a palm tree sequin embellishment which really adds some flair.
Bonus: I had a few dollars left to spare on my e-gift card so I selected this Disney Dory girl’s plush bathrobe. My granddaughter loves her new bathrobe! They really have some nice children’s clothing items, so make sure you check out their kid’s department too!
