Well, I got a few of my favorite things in my mailbox last month!!! As you all know, I love jewelry and actually collect it. I have 5 large jewelry boxes full of gorgeous bling here in my home. Last month I won an online giveaway and received a gorgeous antique-style necklace with matching ring. Isn’t it pretty? I love it! Reminds me of something from the Victorian era. If you like the gemstone, it’s a Russian Amazonite, a beautiful seafoam green color.
Next…I had major surgery last month and instead of getting me flowers my husband got me a beautiful new bracelet! It’s an adjustable bolo-style bracelet with bezel-set blue topaz stones. When I woke up from surgery in my hospital room he slipped it onto my wrist and I’ve been wearing it almost every day since then. It’s so pretty and I love it! I told him I need a nice new ring and necklace to go along with it. Hint to Sam!

You’re very lucky, both to have won that beautiful set and to have such a thoughtful husband. My luck has been off, so no winnings in my mailbox lately. But I did get a great cookbook I really wanted, through PaperBack Swap, so that was fun. Good luck with your recovery, Shelly.
