Two years ago my husband started bringing wood pallets home from work and using them to craft new things around our home. In the past 2 years he’s made a garden bench, garden work table, 2 outdoor tables for our patio and several holiday decorations for our front yard. Matter of fact, you can check out my previous post on using wood pallets to make adorable Snowman Yard Decorations and how to make Strawberry Gardening & Growing Boxes.
This book contains 20 easy-to-make wood pallet projects ranging from candle holders to picture frames! I think the farmhouse wall clock is fantastic and I could definitely “tweak” that project and turn the clock into a coastal/beach theme with a few of my seashells that I’ve collected over the years. Looking for a new rustic medicine cabinet? There is a project for that in this book too! As soon as our weather gets nicer (come on spring) I’m going to have my husband make me a storage bench for our front porch by using the pattern & project instructions in the book. I’m super excited about that!
If you’re looking to create some inexpensive, but yet practical home decor accessories and furniture for your home by repurposing wood pallets, you’re going to love this new book by Samantha Hartman and Skyhorse Publishing.
