Can you believe it? We’re only 18 days away from the official start of spring!!! In honor of spring arriving soon, I’m using our pink tulip avatar today within our post. My mom is really into floral and veggie gardening and this year she’s going to be teaching me some of her tricks. I’m hoping she’ll do some more of her gardening features on the blog too. Those were some of our most popular posts here on the blog last summer.
Got any fun and exciting plans for the weekend? What kind of activities do you enjoy doing during the early spring season?

I celebrate my 53rd Wedding Anniversary on the first day of Spring.. I love all the flowers that start blooming in spring. My Tulips are the first to make their appearance. I Love them but they are so sensitive. It gets pretty windy here in spring and my poor tulips get blown away. 🙁 Your Tulips look Gorgeous. Love the Red and White. We are still having cold weather so it doesn’t feel much like Spring yet..But at least I know its coming. Thank You for sharing the Previews of what is coming On Two Classy Chics..I Enjoy it! :O)~~~
I love flowers and these beautiful tulips are sweet. My plans for this past weekend were to rest…and rest I did! We didn’t leave the house on Sunday and it was so quiet and peaceful.
I really enjoyed the Gettysburg post you did, very nice and I loved the pictures as usual. I would really enjoy your Mom’s (and yours) gardening posts. Doe she compost, and everything? I garden and have enjoyed it for years, but you can always learn new tricks! Looking forward to those. It is nowhere close to gardening time here, the ground is frozen still but looking at seed catalogs.
I laughed when I read this quote since I am a grandmother. Yet I know that most parents do watch their kids even when they are exhausted. It is hard to believe spring is almost here when we just had a blizzard.
I am going to a surprise birthday party today. It will be fun, she is not expecting it I think. Spring is here all ready, the flowers are blooming and some are all ready gone. The weeds and bees are out too.
