Kid’s Birthday Party Favors: Pudding Cup Characters

Kid's Birthday Party Idea: Pudding Cup Characters Party FavorsA few weeks ago we hosted a birthday party for my niece and made up several of these adorable pudding cup characters as fun party favors. They were super easy-to-make and you can make them for kid’s holiday parties too, by just changing up the items that your using to fit a particular theme.

Kid’s Birthday Party Idea: Pudding Cup Characters Party Favors

1 box of Zots Large-Sized Glue Dots
Packages of Pudding Cups
Snack-Size Boxes of Raisins
Juice Boxes
Smarties Candies
Wiggle or Button Eyes
Coordinating Ribbon
Self-Adhesive Heart Shape Plastic Rhinestones
Scissors

For this project we found that the Zots large-sized glue dots worked perfectly to adhere all of the individual items together. For the arms we used the wrappers to Smarties Candies…you can certainly use the entire candy or just the wrappers like we did.

It doesn’t take rocket science to assemble them and I’m pretty sure you can see how to do it by just viewing our photograph above. We used these adorable button eyes on our’s but if you can only find the regular wiggle eyes, use them!

At the party some of the kids elected to take their’s home and other kids decided to tear their’s apart and eat & drink their goodies at the party. The cool thing is that none of the items we used needed to be refrigerated, so I was pretty happy to retain all of my refrigerator space before, during and after the birthday party.

If you’re looking to save money, we found the pudding cups, boxes of raisins and the smarties candies at our local dollar-type of store and the juice boxes were purchased at our regular grocery store.

Hope you enjoyed our fun project today!

This is a really great idea for a party -both a project the kids would love and something to eat. So clever.

  2. I like the way that you incorporate reusing items around the house or having something that would be fun for kids to eat and drink at the party. These are so very cute and clever. I’m thinking that my granddaughter could help make something like this for her brothers party.
