Three years ago I jumped on the adult coloring book bandwagon. It’s a great way to reduce stress, to force myself to sit down & to relax and I love turning my finished pages into crafty works of art. I can personally tell you that it has INDEED helped me to relax at night and that it’s a great way to unwind after a long day.
* Complimentary Book Received for Review.
Recently I received the Creative Haven Fanciful Sea Life Coloring Book to review for all of you. If you have never tried any of the Creative Haven adult coloring books, I highly recommend them! They are one of my favorite series of books and I own a lot of them!
The Creative Haven coloring books are specially designed for experienced colorists and offer an escape to a world of inspiration and artistic fulfillment. You’ll find hundreds of different Creative Haven coloring books out in the retail marketplace and available for purchase online.
The Fanciful Sea Life Coloring Book contains an imaginative collection of 31 wondrous designs featuring a variety of stylized ocean creatures with highly detailed and decorative backgrounds. Images include schools of exotic fish, a sunken ship and treasure chest, a seashell castle, underwater dwellers such as jellyfish, an octopus, sea turtles, striped angelfish, dolphins, whales and more!
Each design is printed ONLY on one side of the page and each page has a perforated edge, so that you can easily remove the pages from the book. One of the things I like about the Creative Haven coloring books is that the images are printed on high-quality paper. All of the artwork in this book is by Marjorie Sarnat.
I sit down several times a week and enjoy adult coloring. When I color…I prefer using high-quality glitter gel ink pens. I use them in the Creative Haven books and get no bleeding of colors through the paper at all. None! You can use colored pencils, colored ink pens, glitter gel pens, art markers or whatever.
The designs in the Fanciful Sea Life Coloring Book are absolutely fantastic! You all know that I love anything and everything to do with the beach…so this adult coloring book has quickly become my favorite book in my collection. I love it!!!
