Good Earth Tea’s Berries and Roses Blend, Perfect for Valentine’s Day

January 16, 2018 by A Bailey

Good Earth Tea’s Berries and Roses Blend, Perfect for Valentine’s DayAs a lifelong tea drinker, I’m always happy to have the chance to review new teas here at The Classy Chics. Not long ago, I had the pleasure of trying the Turmeric Chai blend from the Good Earth Tea Co., and today I want to share my experience with their newest blend, Berries and Roses loose leaf black tea.

One word: Delicious! But that one word really isn’t enough to convey how much I’ve been enjoying this tea. It’s both fruity and floral, as you’d expect, with the flavors nicely balanced against the earthy but light black tea background. This luxury tea blend has only four ingredients (black tea, raspberries, rose petals, and natural flavor), with no artificial colors, flavors, or preservatives. It’s also beautiful to look at, with all of its elements visible and no dust or powder as you’d find in a lesser quality tea. The fragrance is heavenly, both when the tin is first opened and after the tea has been brewed.

If you’re looking for a roses-themed gift for someone special this Valentine’s Day, Berries and Roses tea would be perfect. Pair it with a rose-patterned teacup or mug, and the lucky recipient will think of you with every rosy sip. Oh, and a dozen roses wouldn’t hurt, either! I’m just sayin…

If you prefer herbal or caffeine-free teas, Good Earth Tea has you covered. Their selection includes herbal, oolong, and white teas in addition to their wide variety of black and green tea blends. Many of their teas are available in pyramid teabags, although blends with more delicate ingredients are only available as loose teas. Regardless, none of Good Earth’s teas contain any artificial colors or flavors, all are Kosher certified by the Orthodox Union, and many are USDA Organic.

I’d be remiss if I didn’t mention the great packaging the Berries and Roses tea comes in. The removable label allows me to reuse the pretty tin with its black-and-white vines motif and silver lid. The lid is tight-fitting but still easy to remove, and it’s cleverly designed so I can securely stack it on top of my tin of Turmeric Chai tea, saving precious shelf space in my pantry.

Good Earth Teas are available for purchase through their their online store. You may also find them at a local retailer, although they don’t yet have a store locator at their website. The 2.5 ounce tin of Berries and Roses flavored black loose leaf tea I received to review sells for $9.99.

I do love my tea. In fact, I am brewing some right now. I love to try new ones, and I have never had rose tea before. This looks like high quality tea. I would love to try it. I’m glad they have an organic variety.
