Homemade Chocolate Chip Cookies

If you follow this blog and/or follow me over on Pinterest, you’ll already know that I make a LOT of homemade cookies! Matter of fact, it’s rare that I even buy already prepared cookies from the grocery store. In my honest opinion, homemade tastes better and you can find super-easy recipes that ONLY take 15 minutes to prepare, so the question of NOT HAVING TIME, shouldn’t be an excuse!

Every week I make homemade cookies for my family to enjoy. I will often bake cookies and/or bars, but I also make stove-top cookies that only take minutes to make. As a major cookie lover, the new Taste of Home 365 Days of Cookies cookbook has become my new go-to book for recipes! Every cookie imaginable is featured inside the book, along with mouth-watering photographs.

You’ll find all different type’s of recipes and for every occasion. You’ll find recipes that take only a few minutes to prepare to recipes that are more time-consuming and elaborate. This book is definitely the BEST cookbook that I’ve ever seen when it comes to making homemade cookies! Seriously, THE BEST!

My favorite cookie is the classic Chocolate Chip. I like them with a mixture of dark and semi-sweet morsels and candied pecans. They have to be homemade and very big, crispy just on the edges and almost doughy in the center!

I do love cookies, and my favorite is Snickerdoodles. I do bake cookies sometimes, but I also buy them–lately I’ve been buying a lot of speculoos cookies, which show up in the markets at this time of year. I’ll be baking a lot of cookies for Christmas gifts, things like biscotti and M&M cookie bars.
